The Mt. Rainier Chapter - Who Are We?

 

 

 

The Mt. Rainier Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants is here to serve its members in the southern Puget Sound region of Washington state.

 

Based out of Montvale, New Jersey, IMA Global has over 300 chapters located throughout the world.  It is universally recognized by the financial community as a respected institution influencing the concepts and ethical practices of management accounting.  The Mt Rainier Chapter is within IMA's Pacific Northwest Council (Region 12).

 

Meeting in Tacoma, Washington, the Mt. Rainier chapter services IMA members from south King county, south to Centralia, and west to Grays Harbor county.

 

 


 

 CHAPTER HISTORY

 

The Mt. Rainier Chapter was formed out of the Seattle Chapter by applying for a separate charter with IMA in 1977 and receiving it under the number 339.

 

 

 MISSION STATEMENT

 

To provide a dynamic forum for management accountants and finance professionals which develops and advances their careers through certification, research and practice development, education, and networking that advocates the highest ethical and professional practices.
